PURPOSE: To provide a paper feeding roller, which can eliminate the defect of a conventional paper feeding roller and which can be easily disconnected without removing a roller shaft for holding the paper feeding roller from a device main body so as to improve the changeability.

CONSTITUTION: A core 15 for holding a rubber member 16 is formed of two core parts 15a, 15b formed freely to be bent at a thin part 17, and the core 15 can be thereby opened at a part thereof, and a roller can be positioned and fitted to a roller shaft through this open part freely to be disconnected.
