Abstract:
To provide a paper splicing auxiliary apparatus in a packaging machine capable of easily splicing new and old beltlike wrapping materials while adjusting their patterns on a front side printed surfaces by releasing a stored old belt-like packaging material and allowing it to be pulled back onto a newly set new belt-like packaging material winding roll.SOLUTION: A paper slicing auxiliary apparatus 1 includes a storage portion immediately after feeding 3 for storing a beltlike packaging material immediately after being fed out from a winding roll. The storage portion immediately after feeding 3 is changed in posture between a storage posture and its release posture by swinging a swinging plate 6, 6 supporting a first guide roller 4 and a second guide roller 5 on both side. Each of the swinging plate 6 is oscillated while being guided by a meshing engagement between a groove fitting structure 20 in a vertical groove 21 of a first roller 4 and a rack and pinion mechanism 22 when operating a turning operation lever 8. A band-shaped packaging material that is released from the storage portion immediately after feeding 3 is pulled back to a winding roll of the new belt-like packaging material on an upstream side and spliced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
