Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent an error in feeding bills, passbooks, tickets, and the like when they are processed through a data processor by a method wherein a surface of a sheet material has a required friction coefficient and a uniform smoothness.
CONSTITUTION: A paper surface treating device is provided with a feed roller 10, slip rollers 11 nipping printing paper 7 between it and the feed roller 10; air cylinders 15 adjusting a nip width between the slip rollers 11 and the feed roller 10; and a speed change device 14 making the peripheral speed of the slip rollers 11 differ from that of the feed roller 10.
