Abstract:
To provide a papermaking apparatus that can improve paper quality using a simple mechanism.SOLUTION: A papermaking apparatus comprises a fiber layer forming section for forming a fiber layer using a paper raw material, and a calendar section 72 provided with a press roller 75 for pressing the paper material including the fiber layer formed in the fiber layer forming section with a predetermined pressure, in which the calendar section 72 is provided with a moisture application part 94 for applying moisture to the paper material, and the moisture application part 94 includes a moisture application member 96 for supplying moisture to the paper material via the press roller 75, and the moisture application member 96 includes a reservoir 90 that stores water to be supplied to the press roller 75.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
