PURPOSE: To eliminate the overhead required for secure a memory area and to improve the performance of a distributed type parallel computer by providing a buffer where the remote reference position information are registered and then sending en bloc these registered information to the owner when the buffer is filled with the information.

CONSTITUTION: A processor registers the remote reference position information in a request transmission buffer 40 of a fixed size prepared in the processor itself. The buffer 40 includes plural entries. The position information is registered in such an entry of the buffer 40 where the owner processor number is coincident with the owner number field 400 of the relevant remote reference. Then it is decided whether the entry is filled with the position information, i.e., the number of registered information is coincident with a prescribed number or not. The contents of an owner index list field 402 of the filled entry are sent en bloc to the owner as a request message.
