PURPOSE: To quickly integrate data bases while guaranteeing their sequence by matching main data base updating serial numbers with sub-data base updating serial numbers and discriminating a parallel updating record from an independent updating record.
CONSTITUTION: If an east/west district connecting line 7 is disconnected when disaster occurs, a terminal equipment 4 in a west Japan district office can not be connected to a master on-line system 1 in Tokyo and transactions are disabled. When the equipment 4 is switched and connected to a sub-on-line system 2 to continue the transactions, a sub-ledger data base 6 is updated and the updating information of the data base 6 is transmitted to the system 1. On the other hand, a terminal equipment 3 in an east Japan district office continues transactions by the system 1, updates a master ledger data base 5 and transmits the updating information to the system 2. When the line 7 is recovered, the updating information of the data base 6 is received by the system 1 and reflected to the data base 5, so that the data base 6 can be integrated in the data base 5.
