Abstract:

To provide a parallel type mixing power unit having no internal gear design in an internal structure to reduce internal frictional wear by the design, to simplify a whole structure, to be directly mounted in a rotor in a generator and to save many spaces.

This unit is provided with a power storage device, an electronic control module, an internal combustion engine, an output shaft of the internal combustion engine with a flywheel, and a planetary gear differential speed mechanism. The mechanism is provided with a casing driven by the rotor of the generator. A planetary gear set with two planetary gears coaxially performing the same operation is provided at the inside of the casing. A bearing is mounted on a planetary arm fixed to the casing. A sun gear is engaged with the one planetary gear and is fixed to the output shaft of the internal combustion engine. Another sun gear is engaged with the other planetary gear and is fixed to a transmission shaft. The transmission shaft is connected to an output shaft of an electric motor by a rotation transmission mechanism and is connected to an output shaft of a load end via another pair of rotation transmission mechanisms. A proper operation mode is selected by the electronic control module to control operation timing of the internal combustion engine, the generator, the electric motor and the power storage device. As a result, management and rotational speed control are attained.
