Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional parking brake device for applying a compact meshing type brake eliminating a lubrication mechanism to a four-wheel drive vehicle, in which a large operating force is needed to remove it when claws are engaged with each other under high torque.SOLUTION: A parking brake device performs braking by the engagement between a brake block 49 and an inner slider 50. The inner slider 50 has a substantially vertical pressing surface 50b2 in the removal direction 62 from the brake block 49. A Lock pin 52 is included which has a parallel pressure receiving surface 52a1 facing each other in it substantially in parallel, and an inclined pressure receiving surface 52b1 continuously arranged thereto and inclined in the separation direction from a pressing surface 50b2. An outer slider 51 is also included which relatively slides the pressing surface 50b2 between the parallel pressure receiving surface 52a1 and the inclined pressure receiving surface 52b1 by operating the lock pin 52. In the braking, the pressing surface 50b2 is brought into abutment with the parallel pressure receiving surface 52a1, and a linear moving force 53 associated with a reaction force 61 is received by the parallel pressure receiving surface 52a1. In the non-braking, the lock pin 52 is operated by the outer slider 51, and the linear moving force 53 is received by the inclined pressure receiving surface 52b1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
