To provide a part feeder, feeding only a regular part to a predetermined position even when parts different in thickness from the regular part get mixed in the parts placed in a standby position in feeding the parts from the standby position to the predetermined position.
This parts feeder 1 for feeding a connecting rod C (a part) having a hole part penetrating therethrough from a dunnage (the standby position) to a walking beam W (the predetermined position) includes: a holding means 10 for inserting a holding rod (a bar-like member), whose longitudinal direction is disposed horizontally, in a hole part of the connecting rod C placed in the dunnage D and hanging the connecting rod C on the holding rod to be held; and a robot arm 20 (a moving means) for moving the holding means 10 to the walking beam W, wherein the feeder is provided with a measuring means 30 for measuring the thickness of the connecting rod C held on the holding means 10.
