To enable an automatically guided vehicle to run on a narrow path, and shorten the length in the tranporting direction of a supply station where the automatically guided vehicle is stopped.
The automatically guided vehicle AGV is equipped with pallets 20 and 21 having two mounting parts 41 and 42 in the upper and lower positions. Components (components box 5 where components are stored) are put on the pallets 20 and 21 lengthwise. The pallets 20 and 21 turn horizontally around a rotation axis 31, and can take a transport position (the AGV1, AGV2, etc. in Fig. 1) where the running direction of the automatically guided vehicle AGV is the direction that components are put lengthwise, and a transfer position (the AGV5, AGV6, etc. in Fig. 1) where the direction that components are put lengthwise is generally perpendicular to the running direction of the automatically guided vehicle. The pallets 20 and 21 are in the transport position in the path where the automatically guided vehicle AGV advances to supply stations ST1 and ST2, and in the path where it returns to a components station BS, and in the transfer position when the components box 5 is carried out at the supply stations ST1 and ST2. The automatically guided vehicle AGV can collect empty components (the components box 5) at the supply stations ST1 and ST2.
