Abstract:

PURPOSE: To speedily generate passage teaching data required for deburring/ polishing with a work having a ridge line in a complicated form as an object.
CONSTITUTION: Based on the design data of a deburring/polishing object 7 from a CAD device 1, a CAM device 2 divides the ridge line for the unit of a segment and previously and speedily generates a parameter for chamferring angle setting and the coefficient of a algebraic curve for segment approximation as the passage teaching data corresponding to the segments. Afterwards, a robot drive controller 3 controls the drive of a robot 4 based on the passage teaching data so as to execute deburring/polishing to the deburring/polishing object 7 by using a tool 5.
