PURPOSE: To provide a navigation device which is provided with a path search function by searching the path to a destination and displaying it along with a map on a display and can guide an intersection where a driver should turn before the intersection on a guided path with voice.
CONSTITUTION: An induction point is set before a specific intersection at a path selected by a path search means 54 by an induction point automatic setting means, the number of intersections between the induction point and a guided intersection is calculated by an intersection counting means 53, and then a voice guide is created by a voice processor. When the current position of an automobile reaches the above induction point, a voice guide means 58 tells how many intersections there are before the destination intersection with voice.
