Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote power saving by preventing a continued bright screen caused by wrong operation.SOLUTION: A settlement terminal includes: a display unit; an input unit for receiving an input; and a controller that sets a timer value and makes a screen of the display unit darker than usual when the input unit receives no input beyond a time of a set value. When settlement processing related to settlement starts, the controller sets the timer value that is different from the timer value when no settlement processing is executed. When the settlement processing is completed, the controller sets the timer value when no settlement processing is executed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
