This accelerator pedal assembly relates to a pedal assembly including a pedal member 2 installed in a casing 4 so as to rotate around a fulcrum 3 and at least one pressurizing spring 11 for energizing the pedal member 2 to an initial position, wherein the pedal member 2 can pivot around the fulcrum 3 to the force of the pressurizing spring 11. A spring member 8 in the form of a plate spring is arranged in the casing 4, and one end part 9 of the spring member 8 is fixed to the casing 4, and an opposite end part 10 is installed in the casing 4 so as to be freely movable. The pedal member 2 includes a sliding part 7 for adding pressure to the spring member by sliding along one side surface of the spring member 8 when the pedal member 2 operates.
