To displace a pedal and prevent the hurt to driver's legs at a collision time by the cutting of at least one part of a bearing bracket and the relative movement against the front wall of a car inside, at the receiving time of a force by an accident.
In this pedal device, pedals 14, 16 are provided in the hang in midair state in the foot space and formed so that the pedals 14, 16 do not hurt the driver's legs, at the receiving time of load by a front end collision. A pedal pivot shaft 18 is supported and a pedal bearing bracket 12 cutable from a residual portion is provided on the car inside of a vehicular front wall and the cut area is extended in the separating direction from the front wall 10 from the cut part of the bearing bracket 12 and a contact part 66 is provided in the foot space against this cut area and when the front wall 10 is entered by the collision, the contact part 66 is cut forcedly by the action of the cut area and the pedal pivot shaft 18 is cut off from the bearing bracket 12.
