To provide a peeling agent for a paint not contaminating the environment, pollution-free, and giving a good appearance of a repainted surface.

This peeling agent is prepared by blending a mixture (alkyl pyrrolidone, etc.), comprising 40±10% lower alkyl pyrrolidone solvent, 20±5% organic aromatic solvent, 15±5% lower alkyl formamide solvent, 10±3% amine peeling additive such as an alkanol amine, or the like, 5±1% organic tackifier, and 2±1% surfactant, with an aromatic organic solvent swelled with a cellulose tackifier.
