Abstract:
To provide peening method and peening device, simply performing peening in a small-sized device.
A vibrator 5 set opposite to the surface of a workpiece 3 at a predetermined distance in liquid 2 is vibrated with high frequency to generate cavitation in the liquid, and compressive stress is made to remain on the surface of the workpiece 3 by collapsing impact force of cavitation bubbles.
