Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid pentacyclic triterpene acid-containing composition excellent in homogeneity and transparency, and handling property in the production of food and drink, facilitating mixing high-concentration pentacyclic triterpene acid, and excellent in temporal stability, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The composition contains a plant-derived component (A) containing pentacyclic triterpene acid of equal to or more than 70 mass%, middle chain fatty acid triglyceride (B), and ethanol (C). The liquid composition has a mass ratio of each component in the following relationship, and can be used for producing a food and drink product: A:B+C=1:(2-5) and B:C=1:(0.25-1.3).
