To provide a perceptual characteristics measurement system which measures objectively whether or not the perceptual characteristics of hand force of a human while maintaining arm posture has directionality.
A DSP apparatus and a myoelectric signal measurement apparatus are connected to a perceptual characteristics display apparatus. The perceptual characteristics display apparatus further includes an interface into which the magnitude of a force load perceived by an operator's hand is inputted. A robot controlled by the DSP apparatus applies on the operator an exercise load having directionality. A force load perceived by the operator and a myoelectric signal in response to the exercise load are analyzed by the perceptual characteristics display apparatus and are displayed graphically in accordance with a predetermined standard.
