Title:
PERFECT CLOSING CONTROL METHOD FOR SLIDE DOOR FOR VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3588949
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wrong operation in instantaneous cutting of a power supply and malfunction in rapid opening/closing of a door by detecting the starting of the door opening operation, releasing a waiting mode of a controller, and controlling to operate the motor, when detecting the half-opening of the door.
SOLUTION: When a side handle is operated in the opening direction of a door in a perfect closing state of a door 1, a handle switch 8 is turned on and a controller 4 is set to a waiting mode so as to avoid an unnecessary discharge. When the handle switch 8 is turned off by the opening operation of the door, the waiting mode of the controller 4 is released, and when a half-latch switch is detected the half-opened state and turned on, the controller 4 actuates a drive motor 5 so as to close the door. This control method can prevent such accidents from being happened that, when a time necessary for closing the door 1 again after opening it once is shorter than a discharge time constant of a power supply 12, the waiting mode is continued so as not to actuate the drive motor 5, and the controller 4 is reset by instantaneous cutting of a contact type power feed connector 7 by a vibration, etc.
