The performance operation support system PA receives the operation information auditorily, visually and physically representing the user's operating state or the user performance information from the electronic music system EM as cause information (A1), and generates control information and feedback information based on the results (A2) obtained by interpreting the received operation information. The electronic music system EM, such as an electronic musical instrument, is controlled by the control information (A4m), and the auditory, visual and physical feedback is performed for the user by the feedback information (A41: speech and music, AS42: video and robot operation, A43: temperature change and contact operation). Also, the input information is learned (A6), and the optimum control information and the feedback information are generated by interpreting the input information, based on the leaned results.
