Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject odorless pest expellent harmles to man and cattle, capable of long-term storage and having a lasting residual effect by mixing an edible oil and/or a kitchen waste oil with Japanese distilled rice wind (Shouchuu) and a powdery milk and further adding vinegar and salt thereto.

CONSTITUTION: A powdery milk is mixed with Japanese distilled rice wine in a ratio of 2g powdery milk based on 18cc Japanese distilled rice wine and the resultant mixture is stirred. An edible oil and/or a kitchen waste oil is added thereto in a mixing ratio of oil : Japanese distilled rice wine (8 : 2)-(7 : 3) and the resultant mixture is agitated, thus obtaining the objective emulsion form pest expellent. The resultant emulsion can be used for a cold-protection agent for crops, a flower-setting agent for citrus, an insecticide, a germicide, a repellent, a growth inhibitor, a preservative, freshness retention, a herbicide, a soil pest expellent, etc., also other than for a pest expellent by changing the dilution ratio and can be used also for a domestic uncomfortable pest expellent, etc., by adding vinegar and salt thereto. The above-mentioned edible oil emulsion can be used for a salad dressing, a fry, etc., by adding lemon juice, wine and salt thereto.
