This pet food is obtained by subjecting a raw material mixture for a pet food to extrusion molding to give a plurality of braid-shaped moldings and cutting the braid-shaped moldings. The sides of the braid-shaped moldings are bonded at least at a part. A plurality of extrusion holes are bored through a die for extrusion molding the raw material mixture for the pet food and intervals among the extrusion molding holes are set so that the sides of a plurality of the braid-shaped moldings extrusion molded from the extraction holes are mutually bonded at a part.
