Abstract:
To provide a phase change ink ejectable at a lowered temperature of ≤110°C to enable the reduction of cost and energy consumption.
The phase change ink composition contains a phase change ink carrier and a bis[urea-urethane] compound expressed by chemical formula 1 (R1 and R1' are each independently an alkyl, an aryl, an arylalkyl or an alkylaryl; R2 and R2' are each independently an alkylene, an arylene, an arylalkylene or an alkylarylene; R3 is an alkylene, an arylene, an arylalkylene or an alkylarylene; and R4 and R5 are each independently a hydrogen atom or an alkyl).
