Abstract:
To provide a method and device capable of monitoring a phase change in a material at low cost without damaging the observed object.SOLUTION: The method includes a step for burying the tip of an optical fiber sensor through which the light that has been guided in the optical fiber for the transmission path enters the optical fiber for the receiving path and is guided in the observed substance by at least two reflections other than the total reflections at the tip to which each end of the transmission path and the light receiving path using an optical fiber is provided in parallel; a step for measuring the initial amount of the light received in the initial state of the substance; and a step for measuring the variation end time and steady amount of light received in which the amount of light received is in a steady state, and monitors the phase change in the observed material from the variation start time, the variation end time, and the steady light receiving amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
