Abstract:
To provide a treatment method which can transfer phenols-containing waste water without clogging piping and enables industrial wastewater treatment.
The treatment method treats phenols-containing waste water which contains one or both of butyl phenols (A) containing one or more t-butyl groups and biphenols (B) which may have t-butyl groups, and may contain monohydric to trihydric phenols excluding the above butyl phenols (A) and biphenols (B). The above waste water is mixed with an alkaline potassium compound.
