Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new phosphate group-containing block copolymer that can subject a microparticulated pigment to microdispersion at high level and can prepare a pigment colorant composition excellent in coating properties and long-term storage stability.SOLUTION: A phosphate group-containing block copolymer is an A-B block copolymer that contains 90 mass% of a structural unit derived from a methacrylate-based monomer and that consists of an A-polymer block and a B-polymer block. In the phosphate group-containing block copolymer, only the B-polymer block, out of the A-polymer block and the B-polymer block, contains a structural unit derived from a phosphate group-containing methacrylic acid-based monomer having a phosphate group.
