Abstract:
The invention provides phosphoramido compounds of general formula wherein X is oxygen or sulfur; R and R<1> are independently selected from alkyl and alkenyl groups of up to twenty carbon atoms, phenyl, and phenalkyl groups of up to ten carbon atoms; R<2> and R<3> are independently selected from alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, haloalkyl and alkylthioalkyl groups of up to ten carbon atoms; phenyl, napthyl pyridyl, and thienyl group; and phenalkyl and phenalkenyl groups of up to ten carbon atoms, wherein any phenyl, naphthyl, pyridyl or thienyl ring may be substituted by from one to three substituents selected from halogen atoms and nitro, C1-4alkyl. C1-4alkoxy, amino. mono- and di-(C1-4alkyl)amino, and mono- and di(C1-4)alkylaminocarbonyl groups; or R<2> is as defined above and R<3> is a moiety -NR<4>R<5>, wherein R<4> is C1-4alkyl, phenyl, or phenalkyl of up to ten carbon atoms, R<5> is hydrogen or one of the moieties represented by R<4>, or R<4> and R<5> together with the interjacent nitrogen atom represent 1-piperidino or 1-morpholino; their preparation; and their use as pesticides.
