Abstract:
To provide a photocatalyst body capable of suppressing irregularities in the distribution of a photocatalyst on the surface of a substrate even when the substrate into which a plurality of filaments containing a metal are woven is used, and to provide a gas purifying apparatus.SOLUTION: A photocatalyst body according to an embodiment includes: a substrate into which a plurality of first filaments containing a metal and extending in a first direction and a plurality of second filaments containing a metal and extending in a second direction nearly orthogonal to the first direction are plain-woven; and a photocatalyst carried by the substrate. The first filament has a larger diameter than the second filament. The first filament has a diameter of 0.26 mm or more and 0.58 mm or less. The second filament has a diameter of 0.19 mm or more and 0.43 mm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
