To provide a photocatalytic coating composition capable of forming a coating film having excellent photocatalytic activity and yellowing resistance and balanced weather resistance and formability by roll coating method.

The photocatalytic coating composition is produced by compounding 20-40 mass% solid component having a composition of 10-80 mass% TiO2 particles, 15-35 mass% partially hydrolyzed condensation product of an organoalkoxysilane, 10-40 mass% colloidal silica and 5-15 mass% polymer or copolymer of an unsaturated ethylenic monomer together with 0.01-10 mass% water to a mixed solvent composed of an alcohol and a glycol derivative and having a boiling point of 90-160°C and a viscosity (20°C) of ≥3 cP. The coating composition may be further incorporated with 1-30 mass% basic organoalkoxysilane and/or organic metal compound as a curing agent for achieving quick baking after roll coating.
