To provide an ink composition for photo curing inkjet recording, which shows excellent curability and contains a yellow colorant.SOLUTION: An ink composition for photo-curing inkjet recording which contains a yellow colorant, a polymerizable compound, and a photopolymerization initiator, in which the yellow colorant is contained in the concentration of 4.6 wt.% or smaller in the ink composition, the ink composition has the viscosity at 25°C of 12 mPa s or smaller, has absorbance of light of a wave length 365 nm of the ink composition diluted to 1000 times in a cell having an optical path of 10 mm of 0.6 or smaller.SELECTED DRAWING: None
