To provide a photoelectric conversion apparatus 1 in which optical fibers 5 having ferrules 4 at the terminal are connected and attenuation of communication light is prevented by improving the accuracy of facing without tilt of the end faces 51 of optical fibers 5 and a light receiving part or a light emitting part of optical elements 2.
The photoelectric conversion apparatus 1 converts an optical signal transmitted in the optical fibers 5 to an electric signal in an electronic circuit by facing the end faces 51 of the optical transmission path of the optical fibers 5 and the light receiving part or the light emitting part to provide an optical communication. A plurality of projected parts 34 having equally levelled end parts are provided on the connecting faces 33 of adapters 3, and the connecting faces 42 of the ferrules 4 connected to the adapters 3 are abutted to the end part of the projected parts 34.
