In the photographic printing apparatus including a printing means PM to print photographic images and a sorter 25 equipped with a plurality of order accumulation sections for holding photographic prints printed by the printing means PM in a lot every order and a moving mechanism MM for moving the order accumulation sections, the printing means PM is constructed so that operation can be set to a regular printing mode of sequentially printing regular photographic prints and to a test printing mode of printing test prints for color adjustment, and the moving mechanism MM moves the order accumulation sections which have received the test prints to a prescribed position for test print delivery on the basis of operation setting information on the regular printing mode or on the test printing mode.
