To provide a photographic processing apparatus in which at least one process of development, bleaching, fixing, cleaning or the like is carried out by introducing a photosensitive material such as photographic paper into tanks and immersing the material in a process liquid, and in particular, to reduce waiting time until outputting the first sheet and to prevent process irregularity.
An immersion processing device 50b includes a conveying means composed of a set of a large diameter conveying roller 64 and a small diameter conveying roller 65 and reciprocally conveying a photographic paper sheet R2 between the liquid surface to the bottom, and ultrasonic vibrator arrays 80 are disposed opposing to each other along the vertical conveying passage of the conveying means. Therefore, permeation of a process liquid into the photographic paper sheet R2 is promoted, the process time can be shortened and process steps can be reduced, the waiting time upon processing the first sheet until outputting can be shortened and a developing device equipped with the above immersion processing device 50b and a photographic processing device can be small-sized. Bubbles produced in the process do not deposit for a long period of time on the surface of a photographic paper sheet R2, which prevents process irregularity.
