To provide a photographic processing apparatus including a recording processing section (printer device A1) provided with a scanning exposure section for scanning and exposing an emulsion surface of paper P at a predetermined exposure position and a development processing section (processor A2) for developing the paper P having been exposed, the photographic processing apparatus being characterized in that the picture quality of a print image is improved as much as possible while the apparatus is improved in processing capability and suppressed in upsizing.
An exposed portion of the paper P is fed in the development processing section while the paper P is exposed, and a conveying mechanism of the development processing section is provided with a pair of selector rollers 90 which can be switched between a pressing state and a non-pressing state to place the selector roller pair 90 in the non-pressing state when the paper P is being exposed while the exposed part of the paper P is fed in the development processing section, and put the selector roller pair 90 in the pressing state after the exposure of the paper P ends.
