Abstract:
PURPOSE: To properly set the liquid pressure of water washing solution to normally perform a cascade.
CONSTITUTION: The levels of water washing solutions stored in water washing tanks 20, 22, 24, 26 are set to be lowered stepwise toward the carrying directional upstream side (arrowed direction A) of a paper 14, and this state where the level is lowered stepwise is held within a prescribed allowable time. Thus, the water washing solution can be prevented from being leaked in the direction (arrowed direction B) opposite to the direction for supplying new water washing solution in cascade processing to normally perform a cascade.
