Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the index of chips, during the picking-up operation of a first chip, by holding in a waiting state an adjacent second chip to the first chip which precedes the first chip, after determining its quality based on its precedent recognition data, and by increasing the speeds of the picking-up operations of the chips.
CONSTITUTION: Many chips arranged in an array state are photographed, and while the qualities of the chips are sensed based on their picture recognition data in a photographed camera visual field m, the chip of a good quality is disposed in the center of the camera visual field m to be picked up in succession. In that case, setting three adjacent chips T0-T2 along the sensing direction of the chips in the camera visual field m, their picture recognitions are performed. Further, during the picking-up operation of the one chip T1 present in the center of the camera visual field m, the adjacent chip T2 to the chip T1 which precedes the chip T1 along the sensing direction is held in a waiting state, after the quality of the chip T2 is determined by performing its picture recognition in the camera visual field m and based on this precedent recognition data from the camera visual field m.
