Abstract:
To provide a pickup feeding device capable of manufacturing at a low cost by lowering the assembling man-hour and reducing the number of components.
A synchronous linear motor comprises a field magnetic multi- poles 12 placed on a main chassis which is the fixed base of a disk drive device not shown in the Figure, and an armature coil 14 mounted on the optical pickup 10 and arranged to face opposite to the field magnetic poles 12, then the optical pickup 10 is moved in the direction of X-axis corresponding to the radius direction of the disk by this synchronous linear motor.
