To provide a picture photographing recorder which has no need of identifying works for taken pictures of moving objects or persons, lessens the loads of communications and the hardware, exactly identifies specified objects to be photographed and records pictures thereof.

A picture taking unit 2 capable of taking a picture is installed and fixed. An information recorder 3 is mounted or carried on a mobile object to be photographed. When the mobile approaches to the picture taking unit 2, this unit photographs the mobile while picture information or sound information concerning with the photographing are stored in an information memory (picture/sound information memory 5). The picture taking unit 2 wirelessly transmits peculiar identification information, and the information recorder stores the identification information and time information existing within a transmission range 4 of radio waves from the picture taking unit. Reference to these information stored in the information recorder is made to exactly identify the picture information and the sound information about the taken mobile picture among the picture information and the sound information stored in the information memory.
