Abstract:
To perform various expansive display operations for a thumb nail image summary display with excellent operability.
A physical contact position, pressure and also a contact area to the input surface of a touch pad are detected. Respective information on the contact position, the pressure and also the contact area are used as operation signals depending on detection. These operation signals are used as operation information when displaying a plurality of images such as thumb nail summary display, and operation on a plurality of image displays can be variously performed by the touch pad. For example, image selection, the expansion of a selected image and a fractionated display of a selection clip become possible by touch pad operation.
