Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric transformer, a piezoelectric transformer driving circuit and a liquid crystal display at a low cost which can be miniaturized.
SOLUTION: The piezoelectric transformer 1 is a Rosen piezoelectric transformer, and a primary side driving part is divided into two driving parts 2, 4 by forming a notched trench 11 stretching in the longitudinal direction of a piezoelectric unit 10. A secondary side power generating part is divided into two power generating parts 3, 5 by forming a notched trench 12 stretching in the longitudinal direction of the piezoelectric unit 10. A set of the driving part 2 and the power generating part 3 which face each other constitutes a first transformer part TR1. The driving part 4 and the power generating part 5 constitute a second transformer TR2. The first transformer part TR1 and the second transformer part TR2 are different in length.
