To provide a pigment derivative having remarkably high dispersibility, storage stability under heating and giving a pigment dispersed material excellent in light fastness, to provide a pigment dispersion using the pigment derivative, and to provide a pigment aqueous ink constructed from the pigment dispersion.

The pigment derivative is a compound expressed by general formula (1-1), its salt, its hydrate or its solvate. The pigment dispersion and the pigment dispersed material use the same. A and B in general formula (1-1) each independently expresses a 5-6 member heterocyclic ring; (n) expresses integers of 1 to 3; A1 expresses ethylene group or the like; B1 expresses hydroxide or a group expressed by -NH-A1-A2; A2 expresses an ionic hydrophilic group; and (m) expressed integers of 1 to 4.
