Abstract:

To provide pigment ink for inkjet textile printing, and a textile printing method using the ink suitable for inkjet textile printing with excellent image durability and ejectability without blotting.

The pigment ink for inkjet textile printing contains pigment, a water-soluble copolymer obtained by neutralizing with amine and dissolving a copoymer polymerized with unsaturated vinyl having at least a carboxy group, as a monomer component, polyhydric alcohol, glycol ether and/or 1,2-alkanediol, wherein the water-soluble copolymer is included at 2-10% as a solid content, polyhydric alcohol is included at 10-40 mass%, and the total amount of glycol ether and 1,2-alkanediol is 7-20 mass%.
