CONSTITUTION: This pile fabric having pile yarn durability and sophisticated feeling with excellent touch, comprises polyester multifilaments each with undrawn portions 1 and drawn portions 3 randomly distributed in the longitudinal direction, wherein the multifilaments are produced by melt spinning of polyethylene terephthalate or the like followed by cooling and solidification and then drawing of the resultant multifilaments.
