Abstract:
To provide a pile fabric in which a front end side pile piece part raised by making a pile yarn pass under a front end side weft of lower or upper side of a first warp, or a rear end side pile piece part raised by making a pile yarn pass under a rear end side weft of the upper or lower side of the first warp are inclined backward or forward, and thereby an improved multi-directional brushing property or the like is realized.SOLUTION: There is provided a pile fabric 1 having a base fabric 4 formed of a warp 2 and a weft 3, and a plurality of pile yarns 5, in which a front end side pile piece part 5A is raised by making a pile yarn pass under a front end side weft 3a of the lower side of a first warp 2A and a rear end side pile piece part 5B is raised by making a pile yarn pass under a rear end side weft 3b of the upper side of the first warp 2A, and the front end side pile piece part 5A is raised by making a pile yarn pass under the front end side weft 3a of the upper side of the first warp 2A and the rear end side pile piece part 5B is raised by making a pile yarn pass under the rear end side weft 3b of the lower side of the first warp 2A. The front end side pile piece part 5A is inclined backward or forward, and the rear end side pile piece part 5B is inclined backward or forward. The first warp 2A may be smaller in shrinkage ratio than a second warp 2B, or the adjacent pile yarns 5 may mutually cross, or the like.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
