Abstract:
To realize suppression of slippage, alignment deviation, and the like using a filament yarn formed with crispation and undulation as a weft yarn, and the like.SOLUTION: A pile fabric 1 is obtained by weaving a pile yarn 3 to a base fabric 2. The base fabric 2 is woven with a warp yearn 4 and a weft yarn 5, a pile yarn 3 is engaged with the weft yarn 5 of the base fabric 2, a filament yarn formed with crispation and undulation, or a span yarn is used as the weft yarn 5, and the weft yarn 5 has a crimp percent greater than that of the warp yarn 4. Each pile yarn 3 may have one side pile piece part 3A protruding from one side of one weft yarn 5 which passes through underneath, and another side pile piece part 3B protruding from the other side, and the pile yarn 3 may have one side pile piece part 3A protruding from one side of a furthest one side weft yarn 5a in three or more weft yarns 5 which pass through underneath and upward, and another side pile piece part 3B protruding from the other side of a furthest other side weft yarn 5b in three or more weft yarns 5. A production method of the pile fabric 1 includes forming crispation and undulation on the weft yarn 5 which is a filament yarn, by false twisting or heat treatment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
