Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile knit fabric which can be sewn together at a high speed, a process for producing the fabric and a method for the sewing of the fabric.
SOLUTION: A wale loop part 14 for forming a wale W of a ground cloth of a pile knit fabric 11 is fellably erected in a state deformable to be escaped from a sewing needle when brought into contact with a sewing machine needle 5 approaching from above and below. The wale loop part 14 for forming the wale W of a ground cloth is fellably raised to form a pile knit fabric 11 by shrinking the knit cloth by heat-treatment. The pile knit fabrics 11 are sewn together using a sewing machine needle 5 of JIS No.23 to 19 at a sewing speed of ≥1,500 spm.
