PURPOSE: To prevent the breakage of a pile by sliding an inside wedge along a spherical seat even when the pile is inclined by providing spherical seats on the downside of the inside wedge and the upside of the outside wedge in the panel point at which concrete blocks are fixed to steel tubular piles.

CONSTITUTION: A wedge receiver 14 whose upside is provided with a spherical seat is fitted on steel tubular piles 13 regularly set in the bottom ground under water and set in place by rods. An inside wedge 16 having a spherical seat as the lower part of its three-divided parts is set on the upside of the wedge receiver 14. An outside wedge 20 having a spherical seat on its upper part is then set on the outside of the wedge 16 and concrete blocks 24 are stacked up on the upside of the outside wedge 20 through a spacer 22 having a spherical seat on its downside to build up a pile pier type structure. Since the spherical seats are formed on the downside of the inside wedge 16 and also on the upside of the outside wedge 20, when the rod is tensed and the wedge receiver 14 is raised, the inner face of the inside wedge 16 is contacted with the face of the pile 13 even when the pile 13 is inclined to prevent the breakage of the pile 13.
