Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pin tumbler lock for greatly improving security against the dishonest unlocking by a picking tool and the dishonest manufacturing of a duplicate key since it is difficult to grasp an arrangement state of a set of a tumbler pin.
SOLUTION: A waveform groove 10 meandering along the direction inserted in a key hole 8 is formed in the same depth over the length on the flat surface 9a of a key 9, and when the front end of a coupled driving pin is brought into contact with the bottom 10a of the waveform groove 10, a contact surface between a driving pin and the coupled driving pin is set so as to coincide with a contact surface between a fixed body and a rotor.
