To provide a pinch leveler which shortens the length of non- straightened part of a top end and a rear end part of a bar re-wound with a coil box and straightens them.
A pair of pinch rollers 19, 19' to be arranged inserting a coil like bar 64 to be re-wound are arranged. On the outlet side of the pinch rollers 19, 19', a level roller is arranged. The level roller is composed of two rollers 23a, 23b arranged so as to be made in contact with the internal face side of the coil like bar 64 to be re-wound and an external face side roller 24 which is arranged in contact with the coil external face side of the coil like bar 64 to be re-wound, which is arranged oppositely by one between the internal face side rollers 23a, 23b and which is made able to move so as to be off-set to one roller side. After the bar 64 of high temperature is wound in a coil like, bent of the coil is straightened, in particular, the top end part and the rear end part of the bar 64 are straightened by moving the roller 24.
